Biography
Ho Choi is a chief expert adviser at Yoon & Yang LLC, and his main practice areas are financial regulation, internal controls, strategic items export controls under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and economic sanctions.
Since starting his career at The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. in 2013, Mr. Choi has performed financial compliance and risk management work for approximately 13 years at major consulting firms and large law firms, including Samjong KPMG and PwC Consulting. He has gained extensive practical experience in designing and assessing internal control systems for financial institutions, anti-money laundering (AML), and responses to economic sanctions, as well as export controls for strategic items at non-financial companies.
Based on expertise accumulated over many years, Mr. Choi provides practical and strategic advice on establishing and reviewing internal controls for financial institutions and managing global regulatory risks.
