Biography
Jiwon Karen Kwak is a senior foreign attorney at Yoon & Yang, and her main practice areas include corporate law, finance, M&As, foreign investment, real estate financing·investing and overseas construction.
Ms. Kwak was admitted to the Illinois Bar and has worked at the Webber & Thies, P.C., Woori Bank, and Shin & Kim LLC. Her practice focuses on various types of M&A transactions and international corporate transactions, including foreign investment and outbound investment. She also actively advises on overseas joint ventures, the establishment of foreign subsidiaries and production facilities, visa issuance, and the development of internal compliance systems for domestic executives and employees assigned to overseas business trips or dispatched to local subsidiaries.
