Biography
Soojung Park is a partner at Yoon & Yang LLC, and her main practice areas include administrative disputes, constitutional litigation, and legislative consulting.
Ms. Park has successfully handled major administrative litigation cases, including a lawsuit to cancel a disqualification from participating in bidding and a lawsuit to cancel various levies, a lawsuit to cancel a disciplinary action, and a lawsuit to cancel a refusal to pay a civil servant's pension, and has handled a number of constitutional cases, including a petition to challenge the constitutionality of the Reconstruction Excess Profit Recovery Act, the Development Profit Recovery Act, and the Urban Development Act. She also served as a judicial researcher (Constitutional Administration Division) at the Supreme Court, where she strengthened her professional capabilities in various administrative litigation and constitutional court cases. In addition, based on her experience in reviewing statutory bills, administrative appeals, and interpreting statutes, she provided opinions to the National Assembly on amendments to the Individual Consumption Tax Act, the Basic Construction Industry Act, and the Commercial Building Lease Protection Act, which were reflected in the law.
Ms. Park is currently practicing in major cases such as administrative proceedings related to invoices and proceedings to revoke sanctions under the Capital Market Act. She is an active member of the Korean Bar Association's Legal Affairs Committee, and has previously served as a member of the Statutory Interpretation Review Committee of the Ministry of Justice and as an expert member of the Supreme Court's Sentencing Committee.
