Biography
Byungick Kim is a partner at Yoon & Yang LLC.
After completing the 34th class of the Judicial Research and Training Institute, Mr. Kim opened his own practices, Kim Byungick Law Office (2005-2012) and Min & Kim (2012-2014). He was the managing partner at AKL Partners LLC (2014-2015). Mr. Kim has built a wide range of experience while serving in various positions, such as the general affairs director of the Daegu District Bar Association, an auditor for the Korean Bar Association, an auditor for the National Medical Center, a member of the Investigation Committee of the Korean Bar Association, and a special investigator for the independent counsel team, who investigated the influence-peddling scandal surrounding former President Park Geun-hye’s confidant, Choi Soon-sil (2017–2018). In addition to his law practice, he is currently an adjunct professor at Yeungnam University Law School.
