Biography
Jongkwan (Josh) Peck is a senior foreign attorney at Yoon & Yang LLC, and his main practice areas are nuclear energy & small modular reactors (SMRs), EPC & plant exports, cross-border M&A, and international litigation & arbitration.
Admitted to the New York State Bar, Mr. Peck is a leading practitioner with 35-plus years of dedicated experience in energy and cross-border transactions, having commenced legal advisory practice in 1990 and worked at major law firms such as Lee & Ko LLC. He has represented Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) in flagship overseas nuclear power projects, including the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in the UAE as well as key projects in the Czech Republic, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. Furthermore, he has extensively advised global SMR developers and handled numerous cross-border M&A deals and ICC international arbitration proceedings.
Drawing upon his extensive on-site practical experience across major domestic and international projects, Mr. Peck delivers strategic legal counsel across energy and plant EPC exports, cross-border M&A and joint ventures, foreign direct investment, and international commercial arbitration and dispute resolution.
