Biography
Man Ki Kim is a senior advisor at Yoon & Yang LLC, and his main practice areas include public procurement, international tendering, defense industry and defense exports, economic security, global supply chains, and official development assistance (ODA).
With approximately 25 years of experience in providing advisory services and conducting policy research and business development matters for domestic and foreign government agencies, public institutions, and corporations, Mr. Kim is a renowned expert in defense and public procurement. He possesses extensive hands-on experience and a robust global network, advising on market entry into procurement markets across the US, EU, NATO, and international organizations, the Korea-US Reciprocal Defense Procurement Memorandum (RDP MOU), and the US defense acquisition regulations (i.e., FAR/DFARS and CMMC), as well as formulating defense export and economic security strategies. Leveraging his direct experience in US Department of Defense (DoD) procurement projects and his Certified Capture Management credential in the US federal business development, Mr. Kim specializes in providing end-to-end practical advisory services across the entire lifecycle of US DoD procurement programs.
Mr. Kim has completed specialized international procurement programs at King’s College London, Georgetown University, the World Bank, UNDP, and ADB. Currently serving as an advisory committee member on the Korea-US Defense Procurement Agreement for the Ministry of National Defense and as an advisor to procurement organizations, he delivers practical and strategic advice grounded on his profound understanding of domestic and foreign public procurement systems.
