Yoon & Yang Law (Vietnam) LLC, an official name of Yoon & Yang’s Ho Chi Minh City office held the opening ceremony at the Grand Ballroom, InterContinental Asiana Saigon Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on November 29, 2016.

The opening ceremony of Yoon & Yang Law (Vietnam) LLC took place in the presence of a Consul General from Consulate General of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City, a Chairman of KOCHAM Vietnam, a Vietnamese Ambassador-designate to Korea, as well as other businessmen. A number of firm’s Korean corporations having business presence in HCMC such as Aju Corporation, CJ Vietnam, CS Wind, Daelim Vietnam, Dohwa Engineering, GS Global, Hwasung VINA, Hyundai Motor, LG Chem, LG International, LSIS, LS Cable & System, Lotte Hotel, POSCO E&C, Sebang Vina, Simone, as well as financial institutions including Shinhan Bank, Woori Bank, Industrial Bank of Korea, KEB Hana Bank, KDB, Standard Chartered Bank, UOB, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance and Korea Investment & Securities presented to the ceremony to celebrate the opening of Yoon & Yang’s new office in Vietnam.

At the opening ceremony, Yoon & Yang’s managing partner Hoil Yoon delivered the opening address and firm’s representative managing partner Seung Soon Lim addressed his welcoming remark. A series of congratulatory addresses from No-wan Park, a consul general of Korea in HCMC, Dong Hee Han, the Chairman of KOCHAM Vietnam, and Mr. Nguyen Vu Tu, the Ambassador designate to Korea and Director General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of HCMC followed. The participants also watched the presentation slides showing the history of establishment of Yoon & Yang’s HCMC office and the introduction of Yoon & Yang and its Southeast Asia Practice Group.

Yoon & Yang’s HCMC office will be headed by the firm’s Southeast Asia practice head, Zunu (Joon-Woo) Lee, who will lead the team comprising of another partner, Mr. HyongKun Kim, expert advisor Hyun Woo Dang and local Vietnamese lawyers.
