On August 30, 2018, Yoon & Yang LLC’s senior advisor, Cholsoo Han, and partners, Seung Hyeon Sung and Seong Hong, participated in In-House Congress Seoul 2018, held at Lotte Hotel Seoul, as speakers of workshop sessions.
In-House Congress is an annual conference hosted by internationally renowned legal publication, Asian-mena Counsel, in which leading law firms in and outside Korea deliver lectures on recent legal issues to in-house lawyers, CEOs and company directors. This year’s Seoul conference provided a plenary session covering ‘In-House Lawyering’ and ‘Women in Law’ and three workshop sessions.
During the morning session, Cholsoo Han and Seung Hyeon Sung of Antitrust & Competition Practice Group lectured on the topic of ‘Recent Trends of the Korea Fair Trade Commission(KFTC)’s law enforcement and Company’s Responses’ while Seong Hong of Employment & Labor Practice Group spoke about ‘Labor supervision trends and major issues’ in the afternoon session.
Approximately 200 delegates attended to the event including in-house counsels and CEOs from leading companies in Korea such as Samsung Life Insurance, LG Display, SK, and Industrial Bank of Korea.
