On April 17, 2018, Yoon & Yang LLC participated in In House Congress (IHC) Ho Chi Minh City 2018, an annual conference for in-house counsels in Vietnam organized by Asian-Mena Counsel. Yoon & Yang’s Seoul partners and Vietnamese attorneys lectured at the event as a panelist of the plenary session and as speakers at the workshop session.
Over 170 general counsels and in-house counsels attended to the event including partners from local and international firms such as VILAF, LNT & Partners, Latham & Watkins, Hogan Lovells, and Russin & Vecchi, and in-house counsels from ANZ Bank, Citibank, P&G Vietnam, and Samsung Vina Electronics.
For this year’s event, Zunu Lee - the head of Southeast Asia Practice, Keun Woo Lee, a partner of the Intellectual Property Practice Group in Seoul office, and Dang Hue Dung, an associate in Ho Chi Minh City office, presented a session on the topic of ‘Protection of trade secrets in Vietnam’ which is now an essential issue for Korean companies expanding its business in Vietnam.
In the plenary session discussing the following topics, ‘Women in Law: Women in In-House’ and ‘The In-House Development Model’, Yoon & Yang’s senior associate attorney in Hanoi office, Ha Thi Tinh participated as a panelist.
