Ki Sung Lee is a partner at Yoon & Yang LLC, and his main practice areas include antitrust and competition, subcontracting, and compliance matters.
Mr. Lee acquired extensive hands-on experience in the antitrust and competition sector while serving at the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC), where he investigated violations of the Act on Fair Subcontract Transactions by construction companies and handled subsequent administrative sanctions. Thereafter, Mr. Lee worked at law firms where he represented major construction companies in numerous subcontracting disputes, and advised and represented clients in a wide range of antitrust matters, including unfair financial support among affiliates (intercompany transactions), cartels, and unfair trade practices. Furthermore, he has provided comprehensive advisory services on establishing corporate compliance programs and interpreting fair trade laws and regulations.
Leveraging this wealth of practical experience, Mr. Lee provides substantive and specialized legal services across the full spectrum of antitrust and fair trade matters – ranging from preemptive compliance management to responding to KFTC’s investigations and deliberations, as well as administrative litigations challenging KFTC’s sanctions.
