Mr. Kim has extensive experience handling a wide range of corporate legal issues across various industries, including manufacturing, e-commerce, platform businesses, and venture investment. He has worked as in-house counsel at LG Chem, GS Home Shopping, and Bucketplace, with particular expertise in fair trade and compliance matters.
At LG Chem, he provided comprehensive legal advice on fair trade issues and conducted internal reviews of inter-affiliate transactions. He also handled the company’s first case involving the misuse of Subcontracting Technology under the Fair Transactions in Subcontracting Act. At GS Home Shopping, he led the legal team in responding to the industry's first large-scale investigation under the Distribution Industry Development Act and managed multiple administrative litigations. He also oversaw the development and implementation of the group's first large-scale compliance program. At Bucketplace, he established the company’s legal and external affairs functions, managing the overall legal operations of the platform business, including domestic and international investment activities.
