In July 2019, Korea Investment Management entered into an agreement to acquire all of the shares issued by Hung Viet Fund Management Company, a Vietnamese fund management company.
Yoon & Yang LLC advised Korea Investment Management on its acquisition of Hung Viet Fund Management Company by (i) establishing an optimal deal structure for Korea Investment Management through multilateral analysis of Korean and Vietnamese financial regulations; (ii) assisting Korea Investment Management to negotiate the terms and conditions of agreements and preparing related agreements, including the share purchase agreement; (iii) and advising on future business opportunities in Vietnam, therefore contributing to the successful establishment of Korea Investment Management’s business plans.
