Partner Jiho Park Recognised in ALB 2019 ’40 Under 40’

Jiho Park, a partner of Yoon & Yang LLC has been selected as one of top 40 outstanding legal professionals in Asia under the age of 40. Asian Legal Business (ALB) announced 2019 edition of its ’40 under 40’ list in its October 2019 issue and Yoon & Yang’s Jiho Park has made a name in ’40 Under 40.’
‘40 Under 40’ is a list of 40 lawyers under the age of 40 in the Asia region who have successfully conducted major deals or disputes over the past year and have gained professional recognition from colleagues, clients and seniors. This year, ALB selected law firm lawyers and in-house lawyers from Korea, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and Southeast Asia.
ALB featured "lawyers in Korea have been playing an increasing role in dealing with capital market sanctions procedures, and Park has made a name for himself in this field, appearing in multiple sanctions cases." The magazine also noted that "he has also advised a major cryptocurrency company, and successfully defended the management of a company in a dispute over corporate control."
ALB also cited words from a client: "Park possesses the passion and drive of an in-house lawyer and his responses are swift and quick-witted in counter-arguments and negotiations with opposing parties."
