Hwanseon Yu is an associate at Yoon & Yang LLC and his main practice area is criminal defense.
After graduating from the Korean National Police University with a degree in Law, Mr. Yoo served for 12 years at the Korean National Police Agency’s National Investigation Headquarters, as well as the Daegu and Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agencies. Throughout his tenure, he accumulated extensive hands-on experience in criminal defense by serving across diverse departments, including Criminal Investigation, Vice Investigation, Traffic, Public Security, 112 Emergency Response, and Intelligence. Since joining Yoon & Yang LLC, he has advised and represented clients in general and corporate criminal matters, including trade secret disputes under the Unfair Competition Prevention and Trade Secret Protection Act and Capital Markets Act cases, based on his extensive experience in criminal investigations.
