Soo Young Lee is an expert who has led ESG strategies and new business development in the environmental infrastructure and energy sectors for over 20 years, maximizing corporate value. She has successfully executed a variety of large-scale projects and investments such as waste-to-energy conversion, water treatment, solar power and fuel cells and significantly improved EBITDA and organizational efficiency. As Chairperson of the ESG Committee at LG Corp., she has played a leading role in establishing the company’s sustainability management strategies, responding to climate change, developing a carbon neutrality roadmap and managing supply chains. Furthermore, as Chairperson of the Committee for Deliberation on Green Certification, Lee has established and supervised national standards for the certification of green technologies and products, and through cooperative networks among industry, government, and academia, has contributed to strengthening the consistency of ESG standards and regulations.
