Merger control matter of the year at GCR Awards 2016

Yoon & Yang LLC was selected as a winner of the “Merger control matter of the year – Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa’ at the GCR Awards 2016 held in Washington D.C for firm’s advising Microsoft on its acquisition of Nokia’s handset businesses.
In addition, Hoil Yoon, Paul S. Rhee, Sinsung (Sean) Yun and Chang Ho Kum of Yoon & Yang were recognized as partners leading this deal at the GCR Awards 2016.
Yoon & Yang successfully advised Microsoft to resolve the approval by Korea’s Fair Trade Commission on Microsoft/Nokia merger in August 2015.
GCR awards 2016 recognizes the cases, law firms, lawyers, economists and enforcers that excelled in 2015 and is annually organized by Global Competition Review (GCR), a leading antitrust and competition law magazine.
