법무법인(유) 화우의 파트너 변호사로서 국제거래(외국인투자, 해외투자), 국제 합작투자, M&A, 집합투자, 증권 및 금융 거래/규제, 국제 중재 및 조정 등의 업무를 주로 담당하고 있습니다. 이준우 변호사는 서울대학교 법과대학 졸업 후 제40회 사법시험을 합격하고 사법연수원(제30기)을 수료한 후 법무법인 우방(현 법무법인(유) 화우)에서 변호사 업무를 시작한 이후 국제적 M&A, 기업구조조정 및 국제 합작투자 등 국제간 기업거래 업무를 담당하여 왔고, 그 과정에서 기업인수금융, 집합투자, 증권 및 금융 거래/규제, 그리고 기업간 국제거래에서 발생하는 국제중재 및 조정 사건에 이르기까지 업무 영역을 넓혀 왔습니다.
이준우 변호사는 법무법인(유) 화우 재직 중 2007년 미국 뉴욕주 뉴욕대학교(NYU) 로스쿨에서 법학석사학위(LL.M.)를 취득한 후 같은 해 뉴욕주 변호사 시험에 합격하였고, 현재 한국 변호사 및 뉴욕주 변호사로 등록되어 있으며, 2007년 가을부터 2008년 초까지 미국 Debevoise & Plimpton LLP의 뉴욕 사무소에서 외국변호사로 근무한 바 있습니다. 2016 년부터 2019년 5월까지 화우 동남아시아팀장 겸 베트남 사무소장(호치민시티, 하노이)을 역임하였고, 같은 기간 동안 베트남에서 외국변호사로 등록되었습니다.
